Lesson 1: Basic Movement
In order to "drive" your LEGO EV3 robot (of course you have your robot connected, right?), you can say something
like:
- Forward:
- Using time: The robot goes forward for 1 second/minute.
- Using distance: The robot goes forward 10 inches/feet/centimeter/meter.
- Free style (In case you don't want to stop): The robot goes forward.
- Backward:
- Using time: The robot goes backward for 1 second/minute.
- Using distance: The robot backs up 10 inches/feet/centimeter/meter.
- Free style (In case you don't want to stop): The robot goes backward.
- Turn left/right:
- Using degrees: The robot turns left for 50 degrees
- Or, just 90 degrees: The robot turns left/right.
- Stop
- Using time: The robot would stop for 2 seconds/minutes.
- Or, end forever: The robot would stop forever. (This will end the program as well)
